The OZGP Tour is Australian Motorcycle Tours' very best Tour and is only possible with the help of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Philip Island Circuit, Judith Wright Real Estate and our willing, helpful support staff and guides (more on them later). The 2008 OZGP Tour to the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix has all the bases covered, including full support vehicle with highly trained staff.

The AMT Support Vehicle carries your luggage for you (sadly we cannot carry Hard Panniers and limits do apply... generally one Ventura Style Bag per rider), it carries excellent communication equipment in case of emergencies, a Full First Aid Kit, other bits and pieces and it can carry your bike if it happens to need a rest... Our Support Driver, Dave always carries a hidden stash of drinks and nibblies that our tour participants seem to enjoy. The rest of the staff are blissfully unaware of where he hides this stuff, but he does look after everyone well and makes sure your gear arrives not long after you, at the days chosen accommodation location.

Aaaaah, the accommodation.. possibly the second most important item on the tour. The places we stay are always a little different and range in quality from a comfortable Hotel to Four Star Motels... and even sometimes 5 Star Apartments. At the Island, the OZGP Tour stays at a variety of places arranged by Judith Wright Real Estate in Cowes. We are always within very close proximity to a good restaurant or two and a watering hole... essential for a motorbike tour, don't you agree?

The other essential part of the OZGP Tour is our ability to take you on the roads that live up to our promise of All the Right Curves, In All the Right Places. The 2007 OZGP Tour was outstanding and this year we have gone to extremes to find another great route to Phillip Island. The exact itinerary will be made available to you upon enquiry (we don't want too many people following our route, as it could get rather crowded & we want the OZGP Tour to be just for you). But we will give you the following:

You will start in the NSW Snowies on Saturday September 27th 2008, at Lake Crackenback. You will spend two nights there and then you will travel down towards Albury taking in some top roads. After that it is into the Victorian Alps and down and around to Mt Baw Baw... Overnight stays will be at Lake Crackenback Resort (2 Nights), The Siesta Resort, The Esplanade Resort and Mt Baw Baw Resort.

Your "OZGP Tour" will include all accommodation, breakfast on the road, support staff, support vehicle, (Carrying your luggage), Full Corporate Facilities at the track and some fantastic times. Let's put it this way, almost everyone who came in 2007 has said that they are coming again. So this means that spots are extremely limited, so don't wait.

On the Monday morning after the GP, you will leave Cowes and make your own way home. Australian Motorcycle Tours is happy to assist with your travel home so please tell us what you would like to do and we will make it happen.
